A message from Principal Melody Sears: The digital world that our kids are learning and growing up in is incredibly exciting. Through technology, kids have access to new tools, to an incredible range of resources, and to stimulating opportunities to participate in novel ways. At the same time, working with children who are immersed in so many different technologies and apps can be daunting. In November, our students began learning about Digital Citizenship and online expectations at Northwest using materials from Common Sense Media, a nationally recognized, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization. Print the Feb Booster Update (pdf) Band and Orchestra: Pre-MPA concerts for Band (March 1) and Orchestra (March 8) will be held from 7-8pm in the Black Box. Musical Showcase is March 20 – check website for updates. The next meeting is April 4 from 6-7pm in the Orchestra Room. The meeting are an excellent way to hear what is going on in the band and orchestra programs, learn how you can help and have a say. Chorus: Next Choral Arts Booster (CAB) meeting is Tuesday, March 7 at 5:15pm in the high school chorus room. Parents are welcome! PSAT / ACT Info Meeting High School parents and students please join us for an informational meeting on the ACT and PSAT tomorrow night February 8th from 6 PM to 7:30 PM in the media center. Parents of Juniors will learn tips on helping thei
