ATTENTION RISING 7TH GRADE PARENTS

In order for your child to move on to the 7th grade, NC law requires them to have TWO additional vaccinations, the DTaP and Meningitis.

As soon as your child turns 12 years old, please get the updated shot record to our registrar, Ms. Warren, indicating your child is up-to-date. You may fax it to her at 980-343-5593 or email it to her at becky.warren@cms.k12.nc.us.

This is also a good time to make sure ALL of your contact info is up-to-date in the school database!

ICYMI: This week your students received a form for Early Release on June 5, June 6, June 7 and June 8, 2018 at 2:05 PM or once the exam is over for the day.

Buses will not be coming early so if you wish your student to leave early you will need to pick them up or arrange for them to be picked up. If a parent or guardian will not be picking them up, you need to specify on the form who will be picking them up.

The buses will leave at the usual time of 4:15.

The form must be returned before June 1st. No early dismissal forms will be accepted after that date. Middle School forms should be turned into Ms. Earley and High School forms to Ms. Winter-Berry.

Once the forms are collected, they will be verified with you by phone. If your current number is not on file, please contact Ms. Warren, our regis...

They have submitted a plan, and our administrative team has met about this.  A copy of this plan has been sent to our zone office.

We need to stress that this plan is for second block, tomorrow, after attendance has been taken.  No other demonstration has been planned, and we are incorporating the honoring of the 17 students with this orchestrated event, planned by student leadership and monitored by our school adults for student safety.

Here is our plan...
