NWSA Beautification Project
The Friends of Northwest PTO Beautification Committee is committed to cleaning-up and landscaping the front of our school. Thanks to a $3K grant awarded from The Home Depot Foundation we have the resources needed to begin this project next Saturday, June 23 but we need your help! Sign up to help beautify our school >>>
NWSA Campus Beautification Saturday, June 23, 2018
8:00am - 12:00pm (or anytime in between!)
Can you spare 2-4 hours next Saturday morning (June 23) to help paint, trim, weed, and/or spread lots of mulch? Please sign-up and bring your entire family to show your awesome school spirit! Appropriate tools, instruction, water and light snacks will be provided. *** If you have special skills in landscaping, gardening, trees, masonry, etc. please email nwsapto@gmail.com and let us know.
The 2018 NWSA Beautification Project includes three phases:
Clean-up and begin landscaping front of School - June 23, 2018
Mural designed and created by local artist - Fall 2018
Complete landscaping - Spring 2019
Help us complete Phase 1 next Saturday, June 23 8am-noon. Volunteers are needed to help complete various jobs such as:
Trimming/removing trees and bushes
Removing weeds and invasive vines
Spreading mulch (lots of mulch)Laying brick path to flag pole
Painting railings and parking bollards
